Green curtains will make the most of the curtain rods that Trump promised during his campaign to build a wall along the southern border.
Trump pledged to build “a great, beautiful wall, not a stupid wall,” even though it was unclear whether he would be able to pay for the wall.
And it’s clear that the wall will cost tens of billions of dollars to build, according to the Wall Street Journal.
“You can’t build a $200 billion wall without green curtains,” Republican Sen. Thom Tillis told the newspaper.
Trump’s wall will also likely include solar panels that will be placed along the border, with the panels being able to charge electric cars.
The Journal reports that the panels would be powered by wind, and that the project would also include “power-sucking sensors” that would help “identify the people coming into the United States from other countries, and help prevent those people from entering the country illegally.”
